MNU provides learners the fundamental knowledge we are looking for to deliver our guided self-help (GSH) intervention programme, approved by Health Education England. The role involves supporting the delivery of a remote GSH intervention to clients (aged 16+) with binge eating and/or mild-moderate bulimia nervosa.

The course offers a strong understanding of the scope of practice when working in this area, providing the techniques in behaviour change and motivational interviewing that are essential for the role.

As a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University, who also works together with NCCMH technical team as part of the NICE Guidelines Development Group; I understand the need for qualified individuals in the industry who are working in line with evidence-based practices and are competent to be able to support a wide range of clients in the way the MNU qualification allows.
