MNU allows people with no prior formal qualifications to become a qualified, government-regulated nutritionist by completing MNU’s own entry-level pre-requisite course before progressing to the Level 5 Diploma in Advanced Nutrition Science. Graduates can use the MN.Nutr post-nominal, the title MNU Certified Nutritionist, and access a bespoke professional insurance policy.
MNU’s pre-requisite short course acts as a Level 3 equivalent course and is designed to increase your exposure to nutrition education prior to starting MNU. The short course is suitable for anyone, regardless of nutritional background.
MNU has been very carefully structured, so that the foundations of nutrition are studied in Module 1 and 2, before moving on to more complex topics. There is also a strong focus on the practical side of being a nutritionist and learning the best strategies/methods to use with a variety of clients as the course progresses.
MNU graduates are able to practice as fully qualified Nutrition Consultants, Certified Nutritionists or Nutrition Coaches & can be insured to implement a full range of nutrition interventions including recommending evidence-based supplements, behaviour change strategies, meal plans & nutrition strategies to improve health, sports performance & fat loss & muscle gain.
